Captain Marble

Captain Marble is the creation of Bill and Fran Reynolds. Tentatively started in 1987 as an adjunct to a well-established tile contracting business, it soon gained momentum, over took, and entirely displaced the parent business.

Bill has an Art background and Fran had the traditional liberal arts education. They came to Santa Fe in 1974 from 6+ years of expatriate living in India.

They have enjoyed searching the stone centers of the world for high art in stone slabs - slabs to be fabricated into beautiful kitchen counter tops and other architectural assets. They feel fortunate to oversee the fine craftsmanship of skilled employees, together maintaining the highest standards. And fortunate to love the raw materials and love the finished product.

Working with old friends and meeting new customers in our community is perhaps the best reward of all.
