The Railyard features open spaces and was designed with the pedestrian in mind. Visitors are encouraged, whenever possible, to walk or bike to the Railyard.

Driving Directions to the North Railyard

The North Railyard is approximately ½ mile south of the historic Plaza, in the downtown Guadalupe area. The North Railyard is located along the west side of Guadalupe with the general boundaries of Montezuma Avenue to the north and Cerrillos Road to the south.

Coming from I-25

  • Exit 284 to St. Francis Drive
  • Drive approximately 2½ miles north on St. Francis Drive (route 285/84)
  • Turn right at light onto Cerrillos Road
  • Go one block and turn left at light onto Guadalupe
  • The North Railyard is the area on the left between Cerrillos Road and Montezuma Avenue

Coming from areas north

  • South 285/84 turns into St. Francis Drive
  • Turn left at light onto W. Alameda
  • Turn right at light onto Guadalupe
  • The area on the right between Montezuma Avenue and Cerrillios Road is the North Railyard

Driving Directions to the Baca Area of the Railyard

The Baca Area of the Railyard is approximately ½ mile southwest of the North Railyard; it is the area northeast of the intersection of Cerrillos Road and Baca Street and southwest of the New Mexico School for the Deaf and the Fairview Cemetery.

Coming from I-25

  • Exit 284 to St. Francis Drive
  • Drive approximately 2½ miles north on St. Francis Drive (route 285/84)
  • Turn left at light onto Cordova Road. Cordova Road ends at the intersection with Cerrillos Road
  • Turn left at light onto Cerrillos Road
  • The Baca area is on the right after Fairview Cemetery and before Baca Street

Coming from areas north

  • South 285/84 turns into St. Francis Drive
  • Turn right at light onto Cerrillos Road
  • The Baca area is approximately a ½ mile southwest of the intersection of St. Francis Drive and Cerrillios Road, it is located on the right after the Fairview Cemetery and before Baca Street
